Dear Mrs. Nhung,

Attached please find the credit card authorization form regarding payment for our driver from DAD to Hue.

I thank you for making this and all arrangements for us and for your excellent attention and service!!

I will highly recommend Tonkin to all my friends. I told my brother he needs to visit the Sapa region - and hope Karen Brady will be able to visit Vietnam in the next few years - - so you will be hearing from us:)

Tina & I will send you our notes from the trip when we have a little time to reflect - with the hope that it will help your future clients. We will write you about the Lucky Daisy homestay. All accomodations were great - all guides were great - loved visiting each location - every transfer was perfect. We had so many fun adventures and felt like everything was taken care of for us. A perfect vacation!

These are the only very small bumps we encountered:

1.) Laos Airlines Flight from REP to LPQ did not exist; but they put me (& another couple) on a delayed flight via Pakse;

2.) Marble Mountain (Hospital Cave): Just a thought - I believe most Americans and Australians would like to see the 'hospital' cave on Marble Mountain rather than the pagoda - or both - time permitting? We really did enjoy seeing this large cave - but I truly regret upsetting the guide with this request. He was furious. I do not understand what happened and wish he told us earlier that he was going to miss his bus home at 5:40pm due to this added stop. It made us feel terrible. We could have worked with him on timing for the day. (The 'hospital' cave is featured in our guide books and on television programs - and referred to as simply 'Marble Mountain'. I know now that this one is not the main attraction.)

3.) Blue Diamond Hotel in Saigon - both of our (Superior) interior rooms smelled awful - of mildew and smoke. I asked to be upgraded to a room with a window and was very pleased with it. The staff were absolutely wonderful & English was very good. Great location, too. I would tell a friend to upgrade the room here or try another hotel.

Overall, we both enjoyed the trip and were so grateful for your work.

Sincerely,

Mary Bransfield
